Soyuz rocket with Progress cargo ship installed at Baikonur launch pad

Baikonur. August 12. KazTAG – The Soyuz-2.1a rocket with the Progress MS-28 cargo transport ship has been installed at the launch pad of site 31 of the cosmodrome.
“The Soyuz-2.1a rocket with the Progress MS-28 cargo ship was taken out of Assembly and Test Building 40 by the cosmodrome’s railway line this morning at 7:30 local time and installed in Launch Pad No. 6 of site 31 in a vertical position,” a source at the cosmodrome reported.
"Within three days, the cosmodrome specialists will conduct final checks of the launch complex and launch vehicle systems," the source said.
The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Progress MS-28 cargo ship is scheduled for August 15 at 08:20:19 Astana time.
The launch of the Progress MS-28 cargo ship will be carried out as part of the International Space Station program. The Russian truck will deliver 2.5 tons of cargo to the international station, including: 750 kg of fuel to maintain the ISS orbit, food, water, air and parcels for astronauts, 420 liters of drinking water from the Rodnik system, 40 kg of nitrogen, as well as 1,290 kg of equipment for re-equipping the station, and scientific equipment for experiments.
