Speaker of Kazakhstani Senate calling CIS Parliaments to regulate Ukrainian crisis
St. Petersburg. April 17. KazTAG - Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, Senate Speaker, is paying a working visit to St. Petersburg in order to take part in the sessions of the Parliament Assembly of CSTO and MPA CIS, as well as to conduct bilateral meetings with colleagues from Russia and Belarus, reports the press-service of the Parliament.
"K. Tokayev has called the international Parliamentarian community "to assist regulation of the Ukrainian crisis which has entered a dangerous phase of power struggle". He made the statement during the meeting with Sayeeda Warsi, member of Lords chamber of the British Parliament, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Great Britain. The Speaker emphasized an important role of such international institutions as the UN and OSCE in regulation of crisis," reads the message.
