Special managing company for APS construction to be created in Kazakhstan
Astana. April 23. KazTAG - A special managing company for construction of atomic power station will be created in Kazakhstan, said Mazhit Sharipov, chair of the committee on atomic energy of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies.
"First of all we need to create a special managing company which will work on the APS construction in Kazakhstan," he said.
"This company must provide development of the project and estimate documents, feasibility study for the station construction. The results of feasibility study will indicate the location, grounds for the APS location," he said.
As reported, Karaganda region is the most preferable region for the station construction. Meanwhile, Vladimir Shkolnik, chair of "Kazatomprom" national company declared that the south of Kazakhstan is the most power deficient region.
