Special services of Tajikistan prevented smuggling of 40kg of Afghan heroin to Russia
Almaty. April 15. KazTAG - The special services of Tajikistan have prevented smuggling of more than 40 kg of Afghan heroin to Russia, reports the Tajikistan Telegraph Agency (TajikTA).
"The special services of Tajikistan prevented smuggling of over 40 kg of Afghan heroin to Russian through Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan," reports the national security committee of Tajikistan.
According to the intelligence agency one of the suspects kept 38 wraps in his flat under his bed containing Afghan heroin more than 40.6 kg in weight. The drugs were delivered to Khojend city from the capital of Tajikistan in Toyota off roadster.
Investigation is underway.
