Spot construction will not be allowed in cities of Kazakhstan from January 2024 - Ministry of Industry and Construction

Almaty. April 29. KazTAG - Spot construction will not be allowed in the cities of Kazakhstan from January 2024, said Kuandyk Kazhkenov , Vice Minister of Industry and Construction.
"In order to prevent spot development, a unified urban planning examination was introduced from January 2024. The new mechanism allows us to prevent deviations from urban planning standards and discrepancies between detailed planning projects and approved general plans already at the stage of urban planning," Kazhkenov said at a government meeting on the digitalization of the construction industry and the urban planning cadaster.
According to him, after passing the urban planning examination, the standard version of the urban planning project enters the urban planning cadastre system, thereby ensuring the transparency of urban planning.
Also, for the transparency of urban planning activities, compliance with the development and implementation of urban planning projects, the ministry has worked on the introduction of a unique object number. It will ensure end-to-end verification of documents for compliance with the intended purpose from initiation to commissioning.
