State debt of Kazakhstan increased by 27.6% to 5.614 trln tenge in 2014

Astana. January 5. KazTAG - The state debt of Kazakhstan has reached 5.614 trln tenge as of December 31 2014, 27.6% up since January 1 last year, reports the Ministry of Finance.
The debt of the Government made up 5555.3 bln tenge as of December 31: 4178 bln tenge internal debt and 1377.2 bln tenge external debt, the debt of the National Bank- 43.7 bln tenge, the debt of local executive bodies- 15.5 bln tenge.
As of January 1 2014 the state debt made up 4.4 trln tenge. The debt of the Government in the total volume was 4380.9 bln tenge, including external debt - 766.4 bln tenge, internal debt- 3614.6 bln tenge, the debt of the National Bank - 3.6 bln tenge, the debt of local executive bodies- 15.5 bln tenge.
For comparison: as of January 1 2009 the state debt of Kazakhstan was 1.33 trln tenge.
