State programs on agriculture support may lose relevance after accession of Kazakhstan in WTO

Astana. October 17. KazTAG - The adoption of state program on agriculture support may lose relevance after accession of Kazakhstan in the World Trade Organization.
"You know, in the past 10 years, state programs on support of agriculture and rural areas have been adopted and supported with significant financial resources. These tasks (on agriculture support-KazTAG) worsen in connection with upcoming accession of Kazakhstan in the WTO. As you know, we need support measures at least for the transition period for agriculture," said Marat Kusainov, First Vice Minister of National Economy.
He reminded the draft law has been presented to the Majilis providing amendments directed on additional support of agricultural business subjects.
