"Storm warnings were announced in 16 regions (the cities of Nur-Sultan and Shymkent, Akmola, Atyrau, Almaty, Aktobe, Zhambyl, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Kyzylorda, Mangistau, North Kazakhstan and Turkestan regions)," said Talgat Uali, spokesman of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
