T2 billion allocated in Atyrau to stabilize food prices

Atyrau. December 2. KazTAG - KZT2 billion was allocated to Atyrau to stabilize food prices, reports the regional communications service of Atyrau region.
“In order to stabilize prices for socially significant food products through a turnover scheme, T2 billion was allocated from the local budget to business entities, as a result, about 12,114 tons of social food products were purchased, including 18 items, which were sold in 58 retail outlets at affordable prices,” said Nurbol Zhanabekov, Head Department of Business and Tourism.
435 memorandums have been signed this year.
In addition, according to him, an agreement was signed with the Koksu sugar plant, located in the Zhetysu region, to transport sugar to the region at affordable prices next year.
