Taxi driver dusted with ground pepper and stolen $100 000 in Tajikistan
Almaty. June 4. KazTAG - A taxi driver has been dusted with ground pepper and stolen $100 000 in Istaravshan city in the north of Tajikistan, reports the Tajikistan Telegraph Agency (TajikTA).
"Two residents of Istaravshan city of Sogdiyskregion have been detained by police officers on suspicion of pillage," reads the message.
The claimant declared that two unknown people got inside his car on May 31, beat him, dusted with ground pepper and withdrew $100 000. Police detained residents of Istaravshansk district 29 year old Kahor Dzhalolov and 34 year old Shukhrat Abduazimov.
"Evidences have been withdrawn. Criminal case has been opened, investigation is underway," said the police.
