Telemedicine sessions give aid to sick people in different regions of Kazakhstan
Almaty. April 7. KazTAG - The sessions of telemedicine provide timely aid to sick people in different regions of Kazakhstan, said Zeinep Bazylbekova, head of department of pregnancy pathology of the republican scientific-research center of health care of mother and child.
"Using special equipment the doctors from Almaty can conduct consulting with colleagues of any region of Kazakhstan. The sessions are conducted every day, in case of necessity therapists, obstetricians, resuscitators get on for a contact. For the first time the session was introduced in Almaty region 5 years ago, it got adopted very well," she said at the press conference dedicated to completion of a marathon "7 steps to healthy living".
She added the marathon lasted for a month and covered 1.5 mln people.
"Within the marathon it was important for us to inform people that health schools were opened in all the polyclinics of the state where people may apply. Many people don't now about their existence," she said.
She added 3900 health schools covering 1.6 mln people work in the country.
