The growth of budget revenues was affected by the increase of excise taxes on tobacco and alcohol and duties on oil - Ministry of Finance

Revenue growth of budget of the RK in first 5 months 2014, is associated with an increase of the transfer from the National Fund, the excise tax on tobacco and alcohol and export customs duty (ECD) for oil, said Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance Bakhyt Sultanov.
"The increase in revenue growth was affected by attracting transfers from the National Fund for 350 bln tenge more than the same period last year, as well as an increase in the excise tax rates on tobacco and alcohol, export duties, taxes, freight and property" - B. Sultanov said at a briefing after a meeting of the government on Tuesday.
According to him, increase of income in the budget comparing to the same period last year made up 17.5% and amounted to 461 billion tenge.
