“The Police Department of the Zhambyl Region suppressed the activities of a group of people who, for a long time, had been stealing diesel fuel from the Kazphosphate LLP plant in the city of Zhanatas,” reports the official Internet source of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A criminal case was initiated under paragraph 1 of part 3 of article 188 (theft committed on a large scale) of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan.
“The organizer of the theft turned out to be a 34-year-old resident of the Turkestan region. With the participation of plant workers, they exported large volumes of stolen diesel fuel for a long time. As a result of searches at the detainee’s place of residence, over 10 tons of diesel fuel were seized, as well as equipment and vehicles used for transporting and pumping fuel and lubricants. In addition, a sawn-off shotgun was seized,” reads the report.
