“As of October 1 of this year, 1.4 million people had overdue loans for more than 90 days for a total of KZT1.4 billion (the maximum delay of one borrower is taken into account),” reads the report.
27% of them or 365,000 Kazakhstani people are unable to service debts in the amount of KZT504bn for more than five years.
Thus, the average debt of one such borrower exceeds KZT1.38 mln.
