There is an excess of methane concentration at the Karaturun field

Aktau. November 28. KazTAG - At the Karaturun field, where the fire has been extinguished for six months, there is an excess of methane concentration, Lada reports.
“The Department of Ecology has carried out studies, which confirm that there is an excess of methane concentration at the field. But in nearby settlements there is no excess of methane,” said Nurlan Nogayev,  akim of the Mangistau region.
It took six months to extinguish the fire at Karaturun. Akim promised to investigate the accident.
