There is no anti-tuberculosis vaccine in Kyrgyzstan; newborns get vaccination in Kazakhstan

Almaty. June 5. KazTAG - There is no anti-tuberculosis vaccine in Kyrgyzstan; newborns get the vaccination in Kazakhstan, reports the KyrTAG news agency.

"There has been no anti-tuberculosis vaccine in Kyrgyzstan for more than 8 months, parents have to take their children to Kazakhstan for vaccination," said Mairamkul Tilenchiyeva, deputy of Zhogorku Kenesh.

In her words, numerous applications of parents to the Health Ministry of Kyrgyzstan have remained unanswered, parents have to go to Korday district of Kazakhstan.

Ainuru Altynbayeva, deputy, confirmed that the Health Ministry has been ignoring the requests of the citizens.

"The management of Health Ministry has been irresponsible to this issue and is not working on the duly level," she said.
