"Despite the efforts of the Governmental commission, people keep on contracting the virus. WHO has confirmed a threat of the second coronavirus wave, " wrote Tokayev in Twitter.
He addressed to people "asking to perform the quarantine measures (distancing, disinfection, hygiene, masks) in order to avoid mass outbreak of the virus".
According to the latest data, 12067 coronavirus cases have been confirmed, the virus has claimed 48 lives, 6240 people have recovered.
