Almaty. February 24. KazTAG - President of Russia Vladimir Putin has denied possible war with Ukraine, naming this scenario as apocalyptic.
"I think that this apocalyptic scenario is hardly possible, I hope, it will never happen," said Putin in the interview to "Russia-1" channel.
In his words, the authorities of Ukraine must establish relations with the dwellers of South-East of Ukraine.
"The Government of such a big European state as Ukraine, first of all, must turn the state back to normal life, adjust the economy, social sphere, establish relations with South-East in a civilized way, provide the legal rights and interests of people, also of those living in Donbass," he said.
Commenting on the statement of Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko about intention to return the annexed Crimea, he said "it is a thing of revenge character".
Despite the accusations from the side of Kiev and Western states, Moscow continues denying any implication to the events in South-East of Ukraine.
