Tokayev about emergency situation in Arys : We will restore the town
Astana. June 25. KazTAG - The town of Arys which was affected by explosions of ammunitions in the military warehouse will be restored, said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan.
"We will restore Arys. Everything will be fine, just wait. It is an emergency, a catastrophe. Such things happen. The Government will allocate money, funding, it will help. Don't worry, everything will be fine," he said at the meeting with some evacuees from Arys.
The people asked if houses will be provided, the President said: "We will repair, we will do everything".
"We will allocate funding as soon as we get the calculations. (...) I understand. Everything will be fine," he said.
According to Berik Kurmangali, Spokesman of the President, Tokayev conducted a session of the crisis center.
"The President has arrived to the Turkestan region to learn the situation in Arys. The head of state has conducted a session of the crisis center for liquidation of the consequences. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev listened to the report of Umirzak Shukeyev, akim of the region, about the situation and taken measures.
The head of state expressed condolences to the casualty and expressed words of support to the victims," he said.
