Tokayev about trilingualism: It is a very complicated and important issue
Astana. March 27. KazTAG - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, president of Kazakhstan, has made a statement about trilingualism while discussing the reports of the members of the Government at the session involving akims of the regions, said Berik Kurmangalin, spokesman of the president.
"It is a very important and complicated issue. My position, first, there should be Kazakh and Russian languages. They are very important for our children. Then they should be tought English," the spokesman wrote in Facebook.
A session is being held under the chairmanship of Tokayev which involves the akims of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent and the regions.
