Tokayev and Zheenbekov visited museums-house of Chengiz Aitmatov in Bishkek
Almaty. November 28. KazTAG - Presidents of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev and Sooronbay Zheenbekov have attended a museum-house of Chengiz Aitmatov in Bishkek, reports the Kyrgyzstan Telegraph Agency (KyrTAG).
"Zheenbekov and Tokayev have attended a museum-house of Chingiz Aitmatov in Bishkek. The heads of states have talked with relatives of Aitmatov, watched the museum-house and its exhibits. Eldar Aitmatov, son of Chingiz Aitmatov, told the presidents about the life and creativity of his father, and gave a picture to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev," reads the message.
After the excursion, the President of Kazakhstan left a memo in the Book of honorary guests.
"The heads of Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyzstan made a memorial photo with the family of Aitmatov," said the message.
According to Akorda, Tokayev has been informed about planned creation of a cultural center of Chingiz Aitmatov in Bishkek.
