Tokayev appoints Asylov as Prosecutor General

Astana. March 3.KazTAG - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has appointed Berik Asylov as Prosecutor General, reports Akorda.
"Appoint Berik Asylov as Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan," reads Tokayev's decree.
Earlier, Asylov's candidacy was approved by the Senate.
Asylov was appointed First Deputy Prosecutor General in March 2019, before that, from February 2017, he was prosecutor of the North Kazakhstan region, and from December 2011, he was prosecutor of Almaty.
