From January 2015 Zhursunov worked as a deputy chairman-member of board of Atameken national business chamber, from July 2012 until January 2015 he worked as an executive director on legal issues Kazenergy association, from April 2011 until January 2012 he headed the legal department Samruk-Kazyna SWF.
