"The head of state indicated exclusion of the mining-metallurgic complex at Masalsk deposit from the complex plan on development of mining-metallurgic industry and republican industrialization map. The project provides a technological chain from ore production to steel roll and production of up to 1 mln tons of products. The President believes that functioning of the complex might provide employment in Zharkainsk and Yesil district and become a source of economic growth in the region. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has assigned the Government and Samruk-Kazyna fund to take a clear position on this project and taken measures," said the message.
