Tokayev assigns to punish anti-corruptionists for illegal methods and provocations
Astana. September 3. KazTAG - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, has assigned to punish the anti-corruptionists for illegal methods and provocations, reports Akorda.
"We should also provide strict responsibility of employees of the anti-corruption bodies for illegal methods of work and provocations. They should have no place in the investigatory practice. The principle of presumption of innocence must be observed to the full," he said in the message to the people of Kazakhstan on Monday.
He said "system combat with corruption is on the agenda".
"We should rehabilitate anti-corruption expertise of the drafted normative legal acts in the central and local bodies with involvement of experts and public," he added.
"We should regulate responsibility of the first head of department where corruption crime occurred by legislation and normative acts," he added.
