Tokayev declares work in health care field as insufficient in Kazakhstan
Astana. April 8. KazTAG - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, president of Kazakhstan, said that work in the health care field is insufficient in Kazakhstan.
"This year the World Health Day is dedicated to comprehensive coverage with health care services. 1.18 trln tenge have been allocated from the Republican budget for health care. Many things are done including within the frameworks of the guaranteed volume of free medical aid. But it is not enough," wrote Tokayev in Twitter on Sunday.
He said "there are still complications with access to elementary medical services in the regions".
"It is important to keep on working in this direction. Health care issues are under my control," he added.
