Tokayev met with Crown Prince of Kuwait

Astana. November 13. KazTAG – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with the Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khalid al-Hamad al-Sabah, reports Akorda.
"The President emphasized the sustainable development of bilateral political dialogue and economic cooperation, confirming Kazakhstan's commitment to strengthening comprehensive cooperation with Kuwait. He also expressed confidence that Kuwait has the potential to become one of the major investors in the Kazakh economy, citing the successful activities of Kuwaiti companies as an example,” said the statement.
Tokayev noted that Kuwait is an important partner of Kazakhstan in the Arab world.
The parties agreed to intensify trade and economic ties with an emphasis on the implementation of joint investment projects.
Particular attention was paid to interaction within the framework of multilateral structures, including in the Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council format.
Tokayev conveyed an invitation to the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishaal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah to visit Kazakhstan.
