Tokayev orders to take measures for development of railway transportations

Astana. May 2. KazTAG - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, president of Kazakhstan, declared about necessity to take measures for development of railway transportations, reports Akorda.
"President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received head of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (Sauat Mynbayev-KazTAG) in Almaty. (...) Tokayev declared necessity to take measures for development of railway transportations. Among the key targets he indicated further modernization of railways, development of transport-logistic and transit potential of the state," reads the message.
The head of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy has informed the president of Kazakhstan about operation results in the first quarter 2019 and plans for this year.
The parties have discussed current condition and prospects of railway field development in Kazakhstan.
