Tokayev promised to take personal control over state support for business

Astana. March 29. KazTAG -  President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, promised to take personal control over the issue of state support for business, reports  Akorda.
“State support should be provided on the basis of a specific, measurable socio-economic effect of a particular project. I instruct the government, together with the deputies, to develop approaches aimed at developing medium-sized businesses. That it should become the main engine of our economy. This issue will be under my special control,” Tokayev said at the first session of the Parliament of the VIII convocation.
It is necessary to focus on real industrialization, localization of production, and modernization of infrastructure.
“Projects financed from the budget should be implemented primarily by domestic entrepreneurs. National projects must be implemented with high quality and on time. All budget funds should be spent wisely. Parliamentary control is especially important here,” he said.
