Tokayev signed law amendments on state service and corruption combat

Astana. November 28. KazTAG - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed law amendments on state service and corruption combat, reports Akorda.
"The head of state has signed the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On updates and amendments in some legal acts on state service and corruption combat," reads the message.
Alik Shpekbayev, chairman of the agency for corruption combat, said in early November that Kazakhstan will toughen the responsibility measures in respect of heads of state and force structures.
"The bill has been considered in the Majilis and Senate, it is supposed to be signed by the head of state. Now of deputies and chairfigures of committees, ministers or akims, their deputies, heads of departments are detained, they will have to resign automatically. I mean after a guilty verdict," he said.
