Tourism representation of Malaysia to be opened in Almaty in May
Astana. March 6. KazTAG - Tourism representation of Malaysia will be opened in Almaty in May, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Malaysia Daniyar Sarekenov met Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, Minister of Tourism and Culture," reads the message.
Sarekenov has indicated the necessity to create a special tourism work group within the frameworks of Kazakhstani-Malaysian joint trade-economic committee.
M. Aziz in turn, declared "the Malaysian side has a serious approach to expansion of contacts in tourism field, it is proved by opening of representation on tourism affairs in Almaty under the embassy of Malaysia in Kazakhstan".
He added they consider Almaty "as a regional Central-Asian hub for promotion of Malaysian tourism" and declared about intention to pay a working visit to Kazakhstan in May 2015 to take part in the official opening of tourism representation of Malaysia in Almaty.
