"Two regions bordering between the Almaty and West Kazakhstan region have similar epidemiological situation. There are no requirements from the side of the Almaty region, but there are requirements from the side of the East Kazakhstan region. We can see interference in the competitive environment; the Eastern Kazakhstan is being deprived of the chance of servicing tourists. We are calling the authorities to hear the entrepreneurs and to take an adequate decision so that the season not to fail in the Eastern Kazakhstan and at the Alakol coast. In the time of coronavirus pandemic it is important to seek smart tools to provide security. We have addressed to the chief sanitary doctor of the East Kazakhstan region," said Radhida Shaikenova director of Kazakhstani tourist association.
