Transnational corporations planned to be attracted for modernization of processing industries in Kazakhstan

Astana. July 23. KazTAG - Transnational corporations are planned to be attracted for modernization of processing industries of the agricultural complex in Kazakhstan, said Zhenis Kasymbek, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
"The state program of agricultural complex development was updated in October 2019, including in terms of provision of stability and transparency of measures of state support of agricultural complex, determination of liabilities of agricultural business, attraction of transnational corporations for modernization of construction of processing industries, adoption of measures for rational use of land resources," said Kasymbek at the session of the Government.
He shared the plans on attraction of big foreign investors in the field of agricultural complex.
" Today about 30 big investment projects to more than $3 bn are being performed in the agricultural complex, state support measures are being applied, investment subsidizing and subsidizing of interest rate. There is a special tax regime for agricultural producers. Coordinated work is being conducted with Kazakh invest company, akimats, a plan of joint actions and a road map have been drawn up," he added.
