Turkey stopped the import of the Iranian oil

Almaty May 23. KazTAG - Turkey refused from the Iranian oil since May and intends to continue to comply with the demand of the USA, informed Reuters.
"Turkey has stopped purchasing Iranian oil since May, due to the end of the permits granted by the United States to eight buyers last November. The goverment will continue to comply with Washington’s demand to stop all imports of crude oil from the Islamic Republic," - said a senior Turkish official.
It is noted that the refusal of Iranian oil is not associated with fears of being under the influence of secondary US sanctions.
