Astana. March 17. KazTAG - Turkic states need to bring cooperation to a new level, said  Kassym-Jomart Tokayev , President of Kazakhstan.
“You know how difficult the geopolitical and economic situation in the world is at present. Under these circumstances, it is very important to strengthen the cooperation of the Turkic world. Thus, our Organization demonstrates that it has taken its rightful place in the international arena. Our countries need to bring political, economic and cultural interaction to a new level. This is one of the priorities of Kazakhstan's foreign policy,” Tokayev said at an extraordinary summit of the Organization of Turkic States on the topic “Emergency Management and Humanitarian Aid”.
He invited the meeting participants to take part in the 10th anniversary UTC summit, which will be held in October 2023 in Turkestan.
“Kazakhstan will also take over the chairmanship of the Organization of Turkic States this autumn. We plan to hold a number of significant events during this period. I believe that the wide support and assistance provided by the world community to the affected Turkish people are the result of the high authority of President Erdogan, his selfless work for the benefit of his country. This year Turkey is celebrating its centenary. This is a big historical milestone. In a short period, Turkey has become a truly strong, influential and authoritative state in the international arena. A huge merit in this belongs personally to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This is recognized by the entire world community. I would like to wish Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan success in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections. I am sure that the Turkish people will support you,” Tokayev added.
