Two citizens of Russia smuggling alcohol to 9 mln tenge detained at Russia-Kazakhstani border
Astana. April 14. KazTAG - Two citizens of Russia have been detained at the border of Kazakhstan and Russia smuggling alcohol to 9 mln tenge, reports the border service of NSC.
"The customs control group "Alimbet Auto" and Uralsk border squadron detained two citizens of Russia. They were carrying vodka of different brands and "Soviet" champagne. The total weight of the smuggled goods reached 9 tons. The estimate cost- 9 000 000 tenge,” reads the message.
The border service also detained a citizen of Kyrgyzstan attempting to smuggle consumer goods to 1 mln tege on a train Bishkek- Moscow.
