Almaty.13 June. KazTAG - U.S. handed over to authorities of other countries 12 prisoners from the military prison in Afghanistan, according to Afghan news agency (AfTAG).
"At the end of May this year from prison established in Parwan for terrorists and Taliban fighters, quietly, were released a French citizen, Kuwait and ten Pakistanis, who handed over to authorities in these countries," - said in a statement on Friday.
Meanwhile, the U.S. government believes that many of those who are in prison in Parwan, as well as prisoners in the special prison for terrorists at the U.S. military base at Guantanamo (Cuba), are too dangerous to be released.
To date, according to the agency, among those who are still in prison in Parwan, are citizens of Yemen, Tunisia, and one Russian, which will be sent to a military or civilian court by United States. Totally this prison currently contains 38 people.
