Astana. April 14. KazTAG- The number of unemployed people in Kazakhstan made up 463 500 people in March 2014, unemployment level - 5.1% (5.2% at the end of February), reports the Agency of Statistics.
According to the statistics data 52 300 people were officially registered at the employment agencies of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection at the end of March, the share of registered unemployed people amounted to 0.6% of economically gainful population.
The level of hidden unemployment made up 0.5% of economically gainful population as of March 1 2014.
8.6 mln people were employed in the economy of Kazakhstan in March last year. Their number increased by 35 800 people or by 0.4% in comparison to the same period last year. The number of salaried employees made up 6 mln people (70.1% of total number of employed people).
