US goverment intends to indict new charges to Assange in the near future - WikiLeaks
Almaty. June 7. KazTAG - The US authorities intend to bring a new charge to Julian Assange before the request for his extradition on June 14, WikiLeaks reports.
“The Donald Trump Ministry believes that it can use the star-lioness of the convicted gunner, and Sigurdur Thordarson, who participated in the FBI operation to capture WikiLeaks, as a star witness”, - the message says on Friday.
“The first hearing on the extradition of Assange to the United States is scheduled for June 14. The hearing will take place in the Magistrate’s Court Belmarsh”, - added WikiLeaks.
Earlier, the United States appealed to the UK for the extradition of Assange, who was expelled on April 11 from the Ecuadorian embassy in London. He was convicted with a total of 18 criminal charges in the United States and can be imprisoned for several decades.
