US official will "synchronize watches" at the meeting with Kazakhstani officials in Astana

Astana. October 28. KazTAG – Richard Hoaglabnd, deputy assistant secretary of state South and Central Asian Affairs, will "synchronize watches" during the meeting with representatives of Kazakhstani Government on October 28-29.
"The meetings will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday. I do not plan to conclude any new agreements or reach any new agreements. I came here, so to say, to synchronize watches to make sure we are working in mutual respect and remain good partners," said Hoagland  at the round table dedicated to the US policy in the region and Kazakhstani-American relations.
He added he met Vladimir Shkolnik, Minister of Energy on Monday and discussed alternative energy and participation of US companies in EXPO-2017 exhibition.
