US will provide $5 bln of additional financial aid to Afghanistan
Almaty. October 29. KazTAG - American Senators plan to increase the financial aid to Afghanistan to continue supporting reconstruction of the country, reports the Afghanistan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG).
Afghanistan expects to get additional $5 bln to $8 bln of annual aid from the US. However, the American Senators are insisting on certain reforms and strict measures against corruption and illegal drugs trafficking.
The US democrats prepared a report which is a guidance of actions for the Afghan leaders aspiring to get multibillion aid from America.
As reported, the US Government has spent about $104 bln for reconstruction of Afghanistan and support of Afghanistan Government, military services and social services since 2001.
