USPF is going to surcharge 1.7 bn tenge from ex managers in addition to recovered 5 bn tenge

Almaty. April 24. KazTAG- The court surcharged 5 bn tenge on the case of embezzlement of funds of the Uniform Saving Pension Fund (USPF), but the fund's representatives are going to file another lawsuit and surcharge other 1.7 bn tenge from ex head of the fund Ruslan Yerdenayev and other convicts, said Nurbibi Nauryzbayeva, chairperson of USPF.
"Not only Yerdenayev but all the convicted individuals must jointly repay those 5 bn tenge. Up to date we have not received any money. We are going to file a lawsuit to compensate the damage. We are expecting the appellate court, as soon as it is completed and the judicial order comes into force, we will file a civil lawsuit," she said.
In her words, in the time of litigation the claimed sum was increased from 5 bn tenge to 6.7 bn tenge, but the court of the first instance satisfied the claim partially and surcharge of 1.7 bn tenge remained unconsidered.
Meanwhile, according to N. Nauryzbayeva USPF has the right for further judicial proceeding in order to surcharge the left sum.
