Uzbekistan lowered import of Kazakhstani flour by 6.5% in 11 months

Astana. December 30. KazTAG - Export of wheat and wheat-rye flour from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan made up 839.3 thousand tons to $215.9 mln in January-November, 6.5% down in volume and 13.9% down in cost year on year, reports the customs control committee of the Ministry of Finance.
According to the reported data without accounting the Customs Union’s states, flour export from Kazakhstan made up 1.7 mln tons in January-November to $518.9 mln, 2.8% up in volume and 0.8% up in cost year on year.
The consumers of Kazakhstani flour in January-November were: Uzbekistan- 839.3 thousand tons (-6.6%) to $215.9 mln (-13.9%), Afghanistan- 596.1 thousand tons (+60.3%) to $208.4 mln (+61.1%), Tajikistan- 167.2 thousand tons (-20.3%) to $57 mln (-20.3%), Kyrgyzstan- 48.9 thousand tons (-61.3%) to $13.2 mln (-64.2%0, Turkmenistan- 50.1 thousand tons (+7%) to $21.4 mln (-1.5%).
