Volume of construction works increased by 2% in January-February 2019
Almaty. March 14. KazTAG - Construction works volume amounted to 184 bn tenge in January-February 2019, 2% up in comparison to the same period 2018, reports the statistics committee of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan.
"The highest volume of works was performed in construction of industrial buildings in January-February 2019 (32.2 bn tenge), residential buildings (26.2 bn tenge), constructions for mining and processing industry (20.3 bn tenge), motorways, streets, railways, bridges and tunnels (15.5 bn tenge)," reads the report of the statistics agency.
According to the report, construction of 6753 new buildings has been completed, including 6388 residential and 365 non residential buildings.
2 schools, 13 pre-school organizations, 1 ambulance-polyclinic organization have been commissioned.
The volume of construction-installation works increased by 4.2% to 165 bn tenge.
