Wands returned to police of Kazakhstan

Astana. September 2. KazTAG - Wands have been returned to police officers in Kazakhstan, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs of  Kazakhstan.
“The Ministry of the Interior Affairs resumes the use of wands for traffic regulation from September 1, 2019,” said the message.
Police will use the wands "only for traffic regulation, especially in the dark and in low visibility conditions", as well as for removal of vehicles after accidents and regulation of traffic jams, including when the traffic lights are off; escorting organized convoys of vehicles; conducting anti-terrorist operations and (or) security measures; prevention and (or) elimination of natural and man-made emergencies and their consequences," reads the message.
