Water level in Syrdarya approaching critical mark in the Kyzylorda region

Astana. January 13. KazTAG - Water level in Syrdarya is approaching a critical mark in the Kyzylroda region, reports Kazhydromet.
"Due to the icing processes in the section line of the hydrological post of Syrdarya-Zhosaly the water level is approaching the critical mark: the factual level made 670 cm as of 8.00 am. The dangerous mark is 680 cm. The critical mark is 720 cm," said the alert.
Meteorologists forewarned on January 9 that the water level in the Syrdarya river was approaching a dangerous mark near the town of Kazaly.
