"“Due to ice phenomena at the hydrological post of the Syrdarya river - the city of Kazaly ( the Kyzylorda region), the water level has risen by 29 cm from 8.00 and is approaching a dangerous level. Actual level at 14.00 on Thursday - 612 cm. Dangerous mark is 640 cm (water exit to floodplain). The critical mark is 743 cm ( threat of flooding of the village), ” said the report.
Forecasters warn about further increase in water level.
