WHO has not confirmed mutation of Chinese coronavirus and called its incubation period

Almaty. January 27. KazTAG - The World Health Organization (WHO) has not confirmed the mutation of the Chinese coronavirus and called its incubation period, reports the organization.
“WHO is working with specialists to analyze the sequence of the coronavirus genome (2019-nKoV) . We have not received any evidence that the virus has mutated. We are waiting for additional information from the Chinese officials, " said the organization.
According to WHO, the current estimates of the new virus show that the incubation period of coronavirus ranges from two to ten days.
“These estimates will be specified when new data are available. Understanding the time when infected patients can transmit the coronavirus to others is critical. In previous outbreaks of coronavirus, such as MERS, some people did not show symptoms at all, but they infected others," said the organization.
