Winners of “Day Without the Internet” contest to be announced in social networks - MES
Astana. January 24. KazTAG - The Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan calls schoolchildren to spend a day without the Internet.
“In order to prevent Internet addiction, to increase the culture of using the Internet, responsibility of adult users of Internet services with regard to monitoring the Internet activity of minors, the Ministry of Education and Science initiates a republican large-scale children's action dedicated to the international day without Internet on January 27, 2019, entitled I’m OFFLINE," reads the message.
The Ministry of Education and Science believes that this action will help to distract students from smartphones, computers and the global network in order to “live this day in the "real" world, communicate with loved ones or devote it to their favorite hobby. The action plans to cover students of grades 1-11 throughout the country.
