Astana. February 26. KazTAG - Vice Prime Minister Berdibek Saparbayev has considered the situation around the measles vaccination during a session involving heads of the Ministries and departments and local executive bodies, reports primeminister.kz.
"By the results of the session Saparbayev has ordered to provide organization of qualified expertise of the vaccine and create a work group for coordination of activity of the regional commissions checking compliance with the requirements on mass vaccination and investigation of causes of post-vaccine complications," reads the message.
As it was previously reported 1 mln doses of measles vaccine were acquired for additional immunization of people aged 15-19. The measles vaccine was certified by WHO in 1993. It is registered in 39 states and shipped to 45 states on the UNICEF line.
